Ivy Votolato grew up as one of four siblings just outside of Seattle, Washington. Raised amidst constant music and the beauty of the green Pacific Northwest, Ivy often found it a little too easy to daydream. She passed her time entranced in books and film about magic and adventure, sure to memorize every detail; so when the chance came - she'd be ready. Ivy began properly acting at 14 when she took her very first drama class. She performed in over a dozen full length plays in her high school, and after graduation she promptly began her conservatory training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Ivy graduated on the stage of Dolby Theatre in 2019 - and is certain she will stand there again. They now reside in California, where at work she gets to play all day and live in whatever world she wants. She has been working actively in shorts and indie film, ranging from LGBTQ+ love stories to horror movies. Ivy spends her time at home with her three cats and a tortoise that only shows up sometimes.
