Rachel Annette Helson
Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Helson graduated with a BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. While in school at NYU, she became the youngest producer in Broadway history to ever be nominated for the Tony Award for her work on Neil LaBute's "Reasons to be Pretty."
An accomplished actress, Helson has appeared on television ("The Knick," "Law & Order: SVU," "Power"), in film ("The Polka King") and on stage ("Bullet for Adolf" directed by Woody Harrelson.)
In 2019, Helson was named a "New Director to Watch" by SHOOT Magazine. As of 2022, she has directed three feature films ("The Engagement Dress," "The Girl in the Window," "How to Live Your Best Death") as well as commercials for brands worldwide. Her short films have played at Hollyshorts, StudioFest and on Film Shortage.
She lives in New York City.
